Sender local des Quinze

  • Difficulty:Moderate - Low
  • Duration:3 hours approximately
  • Distance:9km

The route begins alongside the Mas d’en Pinc, where car parking is available. Right by the car park there is a signpost showing the way to go. Continue along the tarmac track to the right, towards the Mirador de la Creu lookout. The path soon heads into the woods, and it is about fifteen minutes as far as Mirador de la Creu. Leaving the look out behind, head down along the roads of the residential district as far as the junction, where there is a signpost right at the start of Carrer de s’Antiga. From here, you can choose either to continue towards the cove of Aiguafreda, or towards the Ses Negres Marine Reserve. Head towards Ses Negres, following the coastline. In a few minutes you will arrive at the shoreline, at Ses Negres itself. Head past the Pa de Pessic and the Punta de la Creu headland, following the path that runs from north to south along the whole coastline. At the end of the track, climb up the steps which link back to the s’Antiga road, leading to the entrance to the Cap Sa Sal complex. Head down the steps to the beautiful cove of Aiguafreda, cross over to the other side, and then climb up the hillside back to Mas d’en Pinc. This last section of the path is rugged but pleasantly shaded, surrounded by dry stone walls, the area being known as the Paratge des Quinze.
