Poet Joan Vinyoli Viewpoint
This viewpoint in Sa Miranda Passage is dedicated to the ties between poet Joan Vinyoli and Begur which began in the summer of 1954. As Vinyoli put it, “the important and definitive place as the centre of all my poetic and life experiences was Begur.” You can get to this viewpoint on foot or by car and it provides a close-up view of the western side of the town and Begur Castle. Further northwards are Montgrí Massif and the Medes Islands with Cap de Creus in the background.
