Coastal Paths
Another particularly distinctive feature of Begur are its coastal paths and coves. The paths skirt the shoreline and have served different functions over the years: providing access to the coves in the event of shipwreck, looking out for pirate attacks, and even for smuggling in the post-war era.
They can now be enjoyed for a peaceful walk through the coastal landscape, providing access to hidden coves that in the past were used for everyday activities.
Begur has 3 separate coastal paths linking up the different coves and beaches.
